I was reading some studies the other day giving information learned about how to get a flat stomach and ripped abs. In reality, what you have to do, is be conscientious with your diet!  By watching what you eat and your fat intake can give you the flattest well defined abdominal muscles you’ll ever want to have.

Another interesting fact noted within this research was that there was no need for external equipment to train your abs, such as, a stability ball, the ab roller, BOSU, ab wheel, etc.  Scientific research actually proved that there was no greater muscle recruitment on a ball compared to ab exercises on the floor.  Plus, you didn’t have to do 20, 30, 45 minute abdominal exercises.

The biggest thing to remember when you want to learn how to get a flat stomach and ripped abs, is to do one hard set of exercises which includes trunk flexion and trunk rotation.  Remember to control the ab movement lifting 2-3 seconds and lowering 2-3 seconds.
