Proper weight lifting techniques are extremely important when you are lifting weights! First of all one of the main and most important reason is to eliminate injuries. That should be the primary most important reason of all avoiding any injury at all costs!
Secondly, if you want to get the benefit from your workouts by lifting weights, you want to ensure proper form. What sense would it be to continuously perform an exercise and not reap any rewards…none! It’s a big ‘ol waste of time.
As we do many repetitions of an exercise the muscles naturally fatigue so it’s going to be easy to lose your technique. It is those moments when you are fatigued that your muscles are working overtime that you really want to maintain your form to get the maximum benefit. How I like to coach it is…”These are the ones that really count!” Maintain your proper form with any exercise and you should see the results of your hard work.
